Prophetic Words For The Year 2009.

The Word of the Lord declares that the Lord does not do anything except that He first reveals it to His prophets (Amos 3:7). In the new covenant, we read that the office of the prophet was given to the church as Jesus ascended high above the heavens. He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors, and some teachers, for the perfecting of the saints (Eph.4:9-12). This is for the Kingdom, not for promoting individuals.

We need to tap into what the Lord is willing to reveal to us regarding this new year of 2009, regarding our personal lives, and so that we are not taken by surprise when, and if, major events take place. Why? Because God wants to use His called out people, so that we, through prayer and fasting, can prevent disasters that God will, otherwise, allow to come into the earth (Jonah 3:5-10).

Let me give you an example. Last year, when the oil was selling for 147 USD per barrel, and the dollar was very low, God told me three things. He said the oil was going down in price and the USD was going up. He also said to pray for Europe against a terror plot the enemy had planned. We prayed with many others in AUI, and the oil went down, the dollar went up, and the terror plot was stopped.

I also want to share a few other prophetic impressions and words that I have received from the Lord.

1. There will be a temporary peace in the Middle East which will lead to economic blessing and recovery for those that support the state of Israel to exist and live in peace. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall prosper that love thee (Ps.122:6).

2. The Lord says that the economy in the USA is not as bad as is perceived and the economy in some other nations is not as good as is perceived.

3. Everything in God's prophetic calendar surrounds the state of Israel, which God says is the apple of His eye. Yet, the Lord is not a respector of persons, and He also loves the Muslim nations, and will pour out His Spirit over them in an even greater way this year, 2009.

4. Things are also going to happen in Europe that will cause people to open up for the things of the Spirit and Kingdom of God.

5. The reign and era of intellectualism is coming to an end, and there will be an opening for an era of spiritualism, meaning the things of God.

6. Uncertainty will be the main reason for this opening, and the Lord has also prepared servants and ministries that He will make available for those who are hungry for the presence of God.

7. This will lead to revival that has not been seen for many years in the European nations.

8. The move of the Spirit of God in Latin-American will continue to grow and spread even more into the USA.

9. Restoration is another very important word for 2009. In Joel 2:25, we read that the Lord says that he will restore the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, the caterpillar, and the palmerworm. The Lord says that He is pouring out His Spirit of restoration on those who will believe and receive His Word and Spirit.
