God has a great plan for all of us for this year. In order for us to make it happen, we will need to use our faith. The plan of God is not automatic but requires faith on our part in order for it to be fulfilled. We are laborers together with God, and without faith we cannot please Him. (1 Corinthians 3:9; Hebrews 11:6)
As I was praying about the year 2007, I sensed in my Spirit that it is the year in which God wants to help us to yield to and completely enter into our purpose in God. Kenneth Copeland prophesied that it is the year of the open door.
By confessing the Lordship of Jesus, we confess our high purpose which is to do the will of our Father.
Hear how the Spirit whispers: “Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, and I will lead you into my fulness and your purpose.”
This will be in accordance to the vision He has put in your heart (what we see we will produce). This is all by faith. Faith comes by hearing from God (Romans 10:17), and it is impossible to have faith without having heard from God.
In order for His Word to come to pass in our lives, we will have to feed our faith (reading the Bible) and release our faith in the Word through faith prayer, faith actions, and faith words. “Speak the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). It takes faith when we don’t feel that we love or are loved, so that the life of Jesus might be made manifest in our body (2 Corinthians 4:10).
God wants to show the world that He is love. The only way this can be done is through His body, the church.
“He that believes in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” This takes faith and knowledge in the Word of God.
For years we have asked God to do what we should do. God will not do what we are called to do.
Our focus has been on interceding, and it is very important, the Word says so, and we must continue to intercede, but it is not the only thing. When we intercede we ask God to do something, but now God is asking us to do something.
He is saying: “Believe my Word and grow up into the image and likeness of my firstborn Son, Jesus, so that you may continue to do the works that He did, and even greater works than these shall you do in His name. I am doing the works, not you, and they are done in His name, not your’s, says the Lord your God!”
So, the Spirit is telling us not to focus so much on God’s side of the issue but rather on our side.
It is time to fellowship more with God and around His Word, and to grow in the faith and in the grace of God by allowing the sword of the Spirit to correct us and purge out everything in our lives that is not in line with the Word.
The Word says that “every one that is used to milk is unskilled in the Word of righteousness: for he is a babe” (Hebrews 5:13).
God wants His sons and daughters to grow up into His image, and represent our older Brother Jesus in the field of the fine arts and entertainment that He has placed us in.
This is the mission of AUI and this is what He has called us as Christians to do, in order that His Kingdom might be established in the earth.
If you feel led to share your vision for your life for this year with us, we will be glad to stand with you and believe with you that it will come to pass in your life this year!
