Your Future Is Inside Of You.

(September 11, 2006)

The Word of God says that the Kingdom of God is in us. (Luke 17:21)

Many times, we are looking for the answer to our problems outside somewhere, yet the Word of God teaches us that the answer is found in the Kingdom of God, which is already inside of us who believe.

The responsibility of prayer is the most important thing of our lives. Prayer is our life line to God and it brings us into the presence of God. Yet without revelation knowledge of the Word, we cannot access all the blessings and privileges of the Kingdom of God.

Prayer alone, or head knowledge alone, cannot get the job done!

I have seen people pray for years, the same way for the same thing, never getting an and never learning that something needed to be changed in their approach.

Guess what? It was not God who needed to change, nor was it His Word!

“What will happen? What is the future for my life?” These are questions that we ask ourselves.

God showed me something wonderful in His Word that I’d like to share with you.

Our personal future can be determined by the image that we have in our hearts!

The Word says in Genesis 11:6, “nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”

God works on our lives from the inside out, while the enemy works from the outside in.

That is why it is imperative that we feed ourselves with the images of the Word of God which comes to us by our hearing the Word. (Romans 10:17)

If you have the wrong image in your heart, God will not be able to answer your prayer no matter how long and hard you pray.

Words can be compared to seeds which produce after their own kind. The Word of God is the seed that will produce the image that it creates in our hearts and minds (Mark 4) if we give it a chance. This is a truth that prayer cannot override.

Proverbs 23:7 says that “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

Not until Abraham had the right image in his heart about his destiny as a father of many nations could God give him and Sarah a son. God told him to look at the stars and the sand and gave him the image of abundance that he needed in order to receive the promise. God also changed his name from Abram to Abraham and, thereby, Abraham’s confession to what he was destined to become, “a father of many nations.”

Whatever you need from God, ask Him for it based on the Word in Mark 11:24, and then see a picture of yourself with the answer. If you need healing see yourself already healed because he himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, by his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5 Matthew 8:17)

Do like Abraham and confess the answer before it comes to pass (Romans 4:19-21). Out of the fullness (περισσευματος) of the image of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). Then God will definately bring it to pass. Hallelujah!
